ZA Minis were a bit strange, but black plate light moulding means early 1980s poverty version. Probably either 1980-83 Mini 1275 E (Clubman front but ZA's cheapest new car at that point) or 1974-80 De Luxe 1100 (again the basic version). |

It must be a pre-1977 car if it doesn't have integrated reversing lights. |

Agreed - I've now found a 1275 E photo, which has the bigger rear lights with reversers and obvious side tapes. So renaming to 1974+ De Luxe 1100, and removing the Leyland element as discussed here. |
