Didn't Lancia have a "thing" for building cars in RHD regardless of intended market or was that over in the 30's?

Quote Until 1927 the countryside was RHT while cities were LHT.[80] Rome changed to RHT in 1924 and Milan in 1926. Alfa Romeo and Lancia did not produce LHD cars until as late as 1950 and 1953 respectively, as many drivers favoured the RHD layout even in RHT as this offered the driver a clearer view of the edge of the road in mountainous regions at a time when many such roads lacked barriers or walls.[81]

Not just Lancia made RHD cars until early '50s independent of market; also Ferrari, Maserati, and others

Quite a few luxury car makers in Europe built RHD cars even though they were in countries that drove on the right. When the vehicle pulled in to the kerbside the chauffeur could then step out and open the door for his employer without danger of being run over.
