1974 Dublin plate is genuine but too late for a Minor. Minor 1000 badge, and only 2 rear lights so 1957-62. |

Front of the car looks like later models:![]() As far as I know BMC (Later Leyland) assembled in Dublin so it's possible that they could have produced something like this as late as 1973/74 with whatever parts were still at hand: https://www.irishtimes.com/life-and-style/motors/past-imperfect-1.389523. However the number shows as a 1966 on https://www.motorcheck.ie/free-car-check/4507zu/ so it may have been imported used from the UK in 1974 and re-registered with the next available Dublin number. -- Last edit: 2017-12-03 01:27:53 |

It's been bodged somewhere along the line. Sidelights are 1962+ and 1964+ parallel wipers, but should have treble rear lights with an added reflector above the main pair. Probably UK-built as I don't think Dublin built Travellers - only 2 and 4 door saloons and occasionally Convertibles; also Dublin-builds had body colour grilles, not cream. So will run with 1966 plate info date, plus suggestion from other plate site that it has 1098cc. |

Guess it should be marked made for GB instead of IRL |

^ Better to leave it blank. (I'd got ahead of myself!) |
