I have no recall of ever seeing a green Pickford's van. However, this van had, by 1955, lived through the nationalisation and then privatisation of road transport, and that could be BRS green. Just a thought. |

I passed a Pickford's Scania on my way to Stoke on Trent this morning, the blue seems a bit lighter in shade than it used to be. In the 50s, most of the removal vans were O type Bedfords with a big Luton extension over the cab, bet the Scanias are a bit quicker. |
