The car was given to General Francisco Franco by Hispano Suiza when he liberated Catalonia during Spain's civil war, and used by him at least since when he took the city of Valencia. The car was in my opinion one of the most beautiful J12's of all, and curiously it was bulletproof (but convertible!). Earlier pics show the regular wheel covers used in the era with blackwalls, most probably with the regular wire wheels under them, while later pics show the car with whitewalls and some stainless or chromed wheel covers covering what was by then the wheels the car had, some solid wheels probably of special manufacture that can be seen in the pic of the article posted by JALE, due to the weigh of the car.
