Round horn ring indicate a pre 1966 model, but indeed the filming date is a give away in that matter. Otherwise it's not a [W 113] (pagoda) because they had a round clock, and neither is it a [W 112] because they had wooden dashboard top. The only model remaining is the [W 111] 220 SE Cabriolet. |

The horn ring became flat on the top, to allow better gauges view , in 1963. I agree it is a Cabriolet and probably a 220 SE, but it may be also a 300 SE Cabriolet (the dashboard was padded, only the instruments cluster was in wood , both 220 and 300 the same arrangement). |
