The tail lights are 1975+ VK/CL, so they don't match the year either. So, this could be a 1973 Valiant that's had a CL Regal front put on it, and newer tail lights, or it could be a CL Valiant with a Regal front it, and the plate from another vehicle. I guess the latter is more likely, so best to leave it as [CL].
