chicomarx ◊ 2017-03-14 02:23	The owner says it was delivered in Belgium to an American serviceman (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cPkvQ5KI88 @5:50) therefore likely to be built in Brussels at the VW factory, which produced Beetles since 1949. But then I pause the certificate he shows later... "Bestimmungsort: Amersfoort, The Netherlands." That was the original 1955 destination. Amersfoort is not particularly close to Belgium, it's in the middle of Holland. "Made for USA" tag is wrong anyway.
