My favourite line is: Shooter McGavin: Watch yourself kid, I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast! Happy Gilmore: You eat pieces of shit for breakfast? Shooter McGavin: NO! |

Funny optical illusion: It looks from this picture like Sandler's character is jumping out of the VW and trying to kick the other guy, when in reality Sandler is getting hit by the car, and the other guy is just walking by. ![]() |

Mr Larson: Trying to make the Green from here Shooter? Shooter: That's not possible sir. Mr Larson: I beg to differ. Happy Gilmore accomplished that, no more than an hour ago. Shooter: Well Moron, good for Happy Gil-OH MY GOD! ![]() -- Last edit: 2019-10-02 09:32:43 |

This is more a 3 star car. Maybe even 4. Most people that think of this movie know the car that hits Adam Sandler. |

This is a 1971 or 1972. This model is known as a 1302 in Europe and they were only built during those two years. It is recognizeable by the flat front window, and the bulbous hood. In the US they are often called a flat screen Super Beetle. If the engine lid is original to the car it is a 1972, as the 1971 lid only has two sets of air slots. This particular car has had it's rear fenders and taillights replaced (1973 and later), and also the rear apron (1975 and later). |

@TFE; if you read the text above, you will find the main image has been changed, and is showing a Super Beetle, as the original image also seems to have been Also it is mentioned there are at least two cars here, the wreck seems to be a later Sedan, this may have affected the listing Then there is the missing front handle (no problem) and the missing A/C vents in current main, the missing C-pillar vents in thumbs... You got the picture. Something is fishy. |
