•No ordinary background "traffic" cars (includes parked cars) for documentaries, |

All cars in this film are "background", the director for Chronos was also the cinematographer for Koyaanisqatsi (1982), in which all cars on that page are "background" as well. The cars I added to this page (only three) were all being driven and clearly visible for at least a couple of seconds, staying right in front of the camera. The same rule applies to the cars in the films Powaqqatsi (1988), Baraka (1992), Naqoyqatsi (2002), and Samsara (2011) all here on IMCDB as well. -- Last edit: 2016-04-24 08:20:28 |

I'd only list this one, since it's well visible. As for the rest, they can go in the comments. Again, well-known (with well-known director and/or IMDb page) older documentaries in high quality aren't so much concerned by this rule. At least that's what I've gathered from my 7 years of contributing, in many cases documentaries like this... -- Last edit: 2016-04-24 08:44:30 |

I can add it if you like. I don't know much about them myself. |
