dsl ◊ 2016-04-07 23:56	Taken from If War Should Come - vol 3 (1939-41) of 3 BFI compilation DVD sets of shorts from The GPO Film Unit, and the final film on this set - also the final film made as the GPO Film Unit before it was transferred to new management. (I should be able to backfill to add vol2 collection fairly shortly to finish the three sets). 9-minute propaganda film for US audiences - official message is "England is celebrating Christmas in 1940 despite continued bombing" (just like today England means London with no acknowledgement of anything further away - anyone heard of - for instance - Coventry?? As for Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland - forget it.
