humungus wrote Set in Italy during WWI, this is one confusing movie where cars are concerned. The cars are featured only in the last act of the movie as the protagonist is making a run for it while his leading lady is going after him in her own car. Much of it is at night and the blu-ray is not the sharpest, so not many good views of the cars. The confusion lies in the fact that while only two cars are involved in what I wouldn't describe as a chase, possibly four different cars appear to have been used:
- during the final act, the main character is mostly seen using /vehicle.php?id=1744604, however at different spots it seems to be replaced a different car (/vehicle.php?id=1744605 + /vehicle.php?id=1744606), most notably when the pair arrives at the airport (/vehicle.php?id=1744606) but are shown exiting from the car in image 1744604. Also observe that although the two cars are clearly different (color, wheel rims) they sport the same license plate;
- lead lady's car /vehicle_1744599.html is what is used for her when she trying to catch up with the main man. However, immediately preceding the scene from which /vehicle_1744599.html images are taken is a short shot of a car (/vehicle_1744600.html) driving past the camera, and it's clearly meant to be the same car, but it doesn't have a hood ornament and the top and the bottom of the radiator are taped over. Additionally, it has the same license plate as both cars used for the main character's car.
