 yeah I know when I upload pictures to the site I can adjust the ratio but I don't know how to do it when I upload to imageshack

 You should have read the tutorial that is in the Contributions section as I suggested earlier. Before I began adding movies about a year ago, I went through a huge run around just to get it right (I'm part of the reason for which antp permanently added the tutorial). You have to use a program like xnview. That's what I use. It's an excellent program that I use to resize my captures and to crop out the black borders. Then I upload the edited captures to imageshack and then to here.
