He does so in this strange blend of romantic comedy and crime melodrama. The comedy half is decidedly better (and naughtier - it's pre-code). I don't think Spencer Tracy wore a police uniform very often. He does so in this strange blend of romantic comedy and crime melodrama. The comedy half is decidedly better (and naughtier - it's pre-code).
