How is it misleading? I know a lot of people seem to think it has something to do with Chasing Amy, but the title refers to Holden Caulfield. The main character in the movie is obsessed with emulating The Catcher in the Rye's main character. Hence the title. He is metaphorically "chasing" Holden Caulfield. |
