Short promotional movie used as an extended advertisement for the GTA 2 video game. Interestingly, the movie somewhat contradicts the game since the present day NYC setting is not present in the game, although the main protagonist of Claude Speed is present, who was the main character in both GTA 2 and 3. However, he is depicted rather different as being lively and adventurous, unlike the muted figure present in the game series.

I also uploaded the game to IGCD: http://www.igcd.net/movie.php?id=255202

And when I first saw GTA2, I thought there was a sequel to the Ron Howard movie.

That's why I thought this pre-game movie sequence was a bit pointless. It had nothing to do with what happened in the game.

^ Meh, it coulda been worse. Up until GTAIV, the Driver series may not have had as much content, but the physics, damage modelling, and controls were waaay better than GTA.

^ That's a good concept for trolling, but I wouldn't dare considering your name to be anywhere near sufficiently creative.

Unfortunately, you've come to the wrong neighborhood, IMCDb isn't a troll site.
