While this is a western, it is a well-known fact that director Sam Raimi sneaked in his Oldsmobile Delta 88, using it as a wagon's chassis. To be fair, I tried to find it quite a few times, but so far haven't.

Considering that "Lord of the Rings" (my pride and joy ) and "Braveheart" made it to this site, I think this case is interesting as well.

"He claims the car was disassembled and the chassis was used for the wagon." seems far-fetched to me. :D

There's also supposed to be a car in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, not on purpose, very distant. (filmed in the Spanish desert)

Never heard about "The Good The Bad and The Ugly" car, interesting. Quite a lot of period pieces, fantasy and history movies feature cars as some sort of a goof, or, as in case of Raimi, in-joke. It is almost inevitable if the filming is in some large area, which is only partially in control. :) Makes me wonder if there's a car somewhere in the only 2 of my 25 favorite movies which are not featured on this site as they're set in 18th and early 20th century.

The car is on a mountainside road, beyond the shoulder of one of the duelists, you can see it as a little shimmering dot driving along a road.
