If any horror movies need to be remade, it would be some from at least the 50's or older, not movies that are just roughly 30 years old. |

I agree that this was a highly unnecessary remake, but you must keep in mind that "The Thing" (1982) is widely considered one of the greatest horror movies of all time, and it was a remake of a movie that was only 31 years old at the time. |
