 Fine movie. Bill Paxton's best role (along with "A Simple Plan").

 Agreed, good acting throughout, well written and an unusual ending.

No car chases but a lot of the movie concerns three criminals (two men and a girl) driving from Los Angeles through Texas to Arkansas changing cars to escape capture.

More background vehicles two trucks and a hatchback, (Honda?).
