dsl wrote Sunbeam Tiger on same page would be more interesting ...... it is 5778 KV, one of the first Coventry built pre-production Tiger test/evaluation cars (maybe even the first) without the chrome side strip and ordinary Super Minx wheel trims - tomato red, LHD and there are photos of it undergoing endurance testing at MIRA with works drivers such as Rosemary Smith. It later got the chrome side strip and was also later used as styling proposal for Tiger II - the first car to get egg crate front grille and the removal of the chrome strip (one studio photo with a convertible hood shows the clips as visible, along with a round bonnet badge not used in production).
