This sounds like a mashup of extremely bad word-for-word translation and some crazy invented words... OTOH, some of the D-class horror flicks went by crazy "translated" names in Poland in the ancient days of VHS... |

I completly don't understand the last two words.  Ale "Dziewczyny z zenskiego koła w ... oslizlej" się nie najgorzej kojarzą.Not only D, VHS horrors Bravada. I know the guy who in the late 1980's/early 90's was a member in such 'commision' which approved the translated titles of the foreign movies. In those times they gave to a "Dirty dancing" title "Wirujący seks/The Whirling Sex" and wanted to rename a "Robocop" to a "Policyjny gliniarz/The Police Cop". -- Last edit: 2007-10-27 19:32:43 |
