I'm here, Chico (I like the '@') but I've just confessed my incompetence to Sandie on 'Une vie en retour' not a page that I initiated.
Might be easier for me if I work with a laptop or a pc?

It depends on how you're planning on working. Do you have the movies on disc or have a source to get them online? If you do it's probably easier to work with a PC or laptop. There's lots of ways to make screenshots. I usually use PowerDVD for watching discs/downloaded files and that has a button you press to make a screenshot when you pause. That's possible with some of the other players (like MPC-HC which is free) too.

Of course, of you are viewing online there's always the PrtSc button then pasting it into a Paint document (this is not advised but I used to do it :D and it was always easy).

I used an early version of WinDVD for many years on WindowsXP or earlier but I had problems with upgrading to later versions. So now I use [=url]http://vlc-media-player.en.softonic.com/[/url] and IrfanView. http://www.irfanview.com/

As DVD player and screen capture tools they do everything I need and a free download. Cropping, and other adjustments including playback speed plus batch processing make it ideal for getting images I find.

Well, if none of the UK gang is interested in sharing some pictures of their beautiful British heritage, I guess someone else will have to do it (always glad to help my fellow EU citizens :D )
