 ...and Eric Rohmer in January. It's really too sad. I might be wrong, but in my opinion, the "newer" French cinema -although there are still a lot of good movies made in France each year- cannot compare with the "golden age" of the 1950s-1980s. Being German, I know that I shouldn't be allowed to criticize French cinema because even today at least 3/4 of the movies produced in Germany are mere pulp.
