With Robert Mitchum (the weary but fighting hero), France Nuyen (the caring nurse), Barry Sullivan (the political US general), Trevor Howard (the flegmatic but principled British major), and Keenan Wynn (the racist psychotic US nutcase), and some others. Beside the stupid score signed by John Barry, a regular military court drama. Not very gripping, I must say (for me, naturally, no intention to hurt any national feelings). But Mitchum is very present (not only by his almost all-over screen presence: he is very good, and his part makes the film watchable), and so is Trevor Howard (with a much shorter screen-time). For the hero's love interest, France Nuyen, well, let's say she deserves her own pic. (I think it's the first time I hear about this French actress.) And a little something for IMPDb.org: Filming locations: Elstree Studios / New Delhi
