What a cast! And NoŰl Coward, screen writer to "Brief Encounter" as an actor. Ernie Kovacs can be many different people. I see you are interested in my favorite era and appreciate films that demonstrate the complexities of the post-war world. Most people associate the 1950s with popular culture icons such as "Leave It to Beaver" and The Rat Pack.

Noel Coward is the best thing in it certainly, even if he's only in a few scenes. And most of the time being followed around by a Mariachi band. :) The whole thing is more a comedy than a spy movie. I like movies from any era... from the 50s film noir particularly, or even early tv like Groucho's show, Jack Benny... But I've never seen "Leave it to Beaver".
