Unfortunately it is not always so easy to fix. Main cause when the site is slow is usually the large amount of bots on the site (most of people use Google or sometimes Bing, but there are so many other search engines crawling the web, I wonder why, who use them?) One thing that makes the site slower when time passes is the always increasing amount of data. The database of the site does not have an optimal structure, it was originally conceived for a much lower amount of data since the original idea was for vehicles with roles in movies  There are some improvements that I should do some day when I've time... time, another thing of which we all need moreAs said on https://imcdb.opencommunity.be/forum_topic-8602-84533-SiteAd_Issues.html#p84533 I've rebooted the server one day after your post, as nobody complained since I suppose it helped somehow?
