The storyline says the "Sun converts to a magnetar for a short time"; that’s kind of silly. A Magnetar is a collapsed star (a neutron-star) with intense magnetic fields. Not sure how the Sun could "convert" into a Magnetar. Someone on the script writing team didn’t think that through. -- Last edit: 2012-08-17 02:12:51 |
