I thought it was a typo for a second.  I'm guessing, like The Good German, it's a film made up to look much older than it is. |

A bit of trivia: The 1956 version of the story was the first Finnish colour movie. The 1937 and 1999 versions are both black and white. |

When they are driving into the big city a bunch of resent cars is vissible in the far background, but to badly vissible to even make a capture. Also it's a silent movie so signs is showing what they are saying. |
