Der Film tut es auf liebevolle, augenzwinkernde Art, mit dem Wissen des 21. Jahrhunderts und dem Staunen darüber, dass damals so vieles unvorstellbar war, was heute selbstverständlich ist. "Als der Südwesten fahren lernte" describes the life on the streets of Rheinland-Pfalz and Baden-Württemberg from A like alcohol over D for driver license, P like 'Politesse' (female police) to Z like 'Zebrastreifen' (crosswalk). It's a view back in the past to the 1960s and 1970s when driving in germany was different than it it is todays. The film does it with a good sense of humor. The source material is not HD, even if the channel is HD, so should have been reduced. The documentary is for me not meaningful enough to list. As it keeps lingering in the contributions list other admins agree. Will be a forgettable tv production. |

I'm not fond of stock footage documentaries and it's not on IMDB so, in this case, if there's to be a good cop it's to be someone else. |
