Umm .... no. That was still just a Capri (although probably sold through Mercury dealers?? I'm not sure of the exact details of how it was distributed or if CDN was different from US, but in imcdb-speak it's just a Capri Mk2). However there were later Mercury Capris of various types - 1979+ rebadged Mustangs, 1991+ Aus-built spiders etc. |

yeah, my post was a little bit unclear. this one is a 1970 but when i google it, the front end was a little different ( probably the rear end too.. ) than the ones i remember seeing as a kid . as i was a little older, i knew they were part of the Ford family but always thought they were either Ford or Mercury . They were sold by Mercury dealers Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" but here , unlike US , Ford dealers were selling Mercury and some were selling Lincoln as well ( at least the Ford dealers i know , i don't know for the other provinces ) 1979-1986 Capri .. those ones i really know about them and can't mix them with the previous ones the little Miata-wanna-be wasn't sold in Canada |
