58Roadmaster ◊ 2007-04-02 05:54	Another side pic please? If you can count the streaks when the vehicle is in motion, the Chieftans had 4 streaks on the hood, while Starchiefs had 5. This is a two-door car, note the way the chrome dips immediately behind the side door. On four door cars there is a little more travel at the start of the rear door before the sweep spear loses altitude. If there is a center streak on the hood of this car it is a Starchief riding on a 124 inch wheelbase. The hardtop model is the Catalina or Custom Catalina. If there are just steaks on either side of the center line of the hood, then it will have 4 streaks and will be identified as a Chieftain with a 122 inch wheelbase. So in short, we need: 1)streak count or placement on hood 2)presence or lack of center post in roofline 3)any kind of chrome detail on side of tail fins.
