Did they call this car the Ka because when you say it in a British/English/whichever-term-you-prefer accent, it sounds like car? |

That's a widespread rumor, but it is, in fact, named after Ka, the ancient Egyptian conception of vital essence that distinguished a living person from a corpse. Link to "en.wikipedia.org" Ford advertised it in Germany upon launch as 'car with soul'. -- Last edit: 2020-07-07 17:54:11 |

Might be a 52 plate = 2002. Pity it was such a nasty little shit heap; 'car with very dangerous brakes' sums up my verdict after having to abandon an almost brand new rental in a Tesco car-park to be recovered back in the day. |

And it was always last in the annual TÜV report. I believe it was especially due to their incredible rot on the bottom. Rule of thumb: never buy a Ka without checking the underbody first. Haven't seen one of these in ages. -- Last edit: 2020-07-07 19:21:47 |

Those two commercials featuring "sentient" Kas killing animals probably didn't help either. Plus, this generation of the Ka having a ugly grey plastic bumper (how any car designer could think grey plastic anything on the outside of a car looks good is beyond me) only makes it worse. |
