What are the differences between the Caravelle and the Floride? |

One of them was more luxurious, but I don't know which. Thinking Caravelle. |

There is a complete answer to this question made by sixcyl here. But it doesn't make me feel safe enough to answer in this present case. -- Last edit: 2016-01-14 20:50:17 |

The airtake behind the door on the rear wing is characteristic of the Floride 1959-62. This one is a Coupé . |

I think this is Floride Coupé 1959-62 [R1092]. It does not have the 2+2 outline of the 62+ Caravelle (European version) [R1131]; it is definitely pre-1963 when R E N A U L T letters replaced front badge and everything became Caravelle [R1133]. Also this (again from this page). But I can't exclude 62-63 Floride S [R1131] as my knowledge stops short at that point. -- Last edit: 2016-01-14 21:26:48 |
