Une vue magnifique ! Merci, Borzage ! We're supposed to be in spring 1920. Most of the cars (I mean: the whole lot) show anachronistic in the movie. ![]() ![]() ![]() (I won't ask the ID of the little torpedo on the right, 00:08:07 ![]() ![]() ![]() Monastella [RY2] ?… No, probably the bigger Vivastella [PG3]. -- Last edit: 2015-12-24 15:22:40 |

cca 1929 Renault Reinastella, with the star in the wrong position? |

Isn't the "front radiator plus horizontal slits in the grille" the mark of MY 1930 at Renault's? |

Hi, The louvres of the grille are horisontal, big and few of them. The car is also quite big. My money is on the Reinastella. There shoud be star above the badge, but the badge seems missing and the star is in its place. Later models post 1929 have an entirely different grille. Regards Vintman |

I was wrong, and you were right, vintman ("like always" would I add if I didn't care to repeat myself). Your identification is saluted on les Renault d'avant guerre which has a nice page on Reinastella(s). |

Useful website, Thanks! Which also suggests I could be wrong and the car is cca 1928. The star is in the right place but the big diamond Renault sign which should be below it is missing! |
