1993 only (smooth rhombus on phase 1). Mass change. Looks like everyone thought it was 1992 but it was from July for 1993. -- Last edit: 2025-01-26 10:55:07 |

I'd be careful - could be some that are listed as 1992 through plate info or color. |

Good point! Though with the picture quality and distance of most entries, it's extremely hard to be sure unless the car is in HD and up close. -- Last edit: 2025-01-26 11:46:50 |

I believe many (myself included) thought it was mid-1992 as 1992 ![]() Agree, not very easy to spot in low quality entries. |

@Gamer: did you already check the 2nd facelift? I'm suspecting that the first MY is 1997 rather than 1996, launched in June ![]() |

It's harder with Renault. Their implications of new model years are not as clear as with Citroen or even Peugeot. The cover usually remains the same every year until a complete facelift comes along. -- Last edit: 2025-01-26 12:44:43 |

…And when I say that, what I mean is they have the model year at the top of the price list ![]() Pre-release/preliminary brochures (which they seemingly do in the middle of existing models, not just for new cars, facelifts or generations) are marked with e.g. “Annee modele 92/93” where presumably the first year stands for the brochure issue and the second year for the forthcoming MY (like Brazilian year formats) |

Anyway, Renault build sheets are as rare as PSA ones, but they provide a code for the MY. I will do a check in the next few days |
