1988-93 - Design by Marcello Gandini - Look at the front part of the car : the ressemblance with the Lambo Diablo is evident.

And 'Midnight Express'.

But about the car, maybe we should change the "class", they were produced in small series. Not?

Right, the Cizeta(after the initials of its foundeer, the Italian Claudio Zampolli)would challenge with that extreme GT with next-to-come Bugatti EB 110,at times(1988)already prewiewed by press(but presented later in 1991);around 1992,its Testarossa-alike side slots becomes vertical-barred;its Brand shown a black panther in a circle;into Nineties'Firm's name becomes CZ Automobili;the exotic of that car was into its powerplant:a V-16 placed amid of the chassis--malicious people say that were get welding two V-8 Lamborghini Jalpa 250's power units, while was a brand-new engine--with turbo--financied by music-maker of international fame Giorgio Moroder, lover of beautiful and powerful GT supercars;the adventure of Cizeta ends in 1994,when the enthousiasm of beginning was sunk, signing the"swan song" of that exotic, limited production, extreme Italian-made GT.

PS The resemblance with 1990 Lamborghini Diablo was non-casual:in fact, into same time that Marcello Gandini layouted the Diablo and the P140(proto of a smaller Diablo, done as replacement never realized,stock-made,of Jalpa, almost a Gallardo ante-litteram),will develops also the Cizeta Moroder V 16 T

I think the owner of the company moved to the USA and built a couple of roadsters on existing chassis a couple of years ago. datsunZ, do you have any information about that?
