Renault Goëlette (1956+) or maybe an older 1400 kg (1949-1955), working for Cointreau liqueur. Cheers !

Mmmh… "Goélette" naming is coming later than 1956, methink.

(What makes you think, ManuelB, it's a 1400 Kg and not a 1000 kg or even a 2,5T?)

All sources said the Goëlette logo is introduced since 1956 until the end for the production for the 1400 kg. See here http://lelignard.canalblog.com/archives/2013/04/14/26921358.html or in the fr & https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_1_000_kg

1000 kg was renamed 'Voltigeur', quite rare except for people movers or administrative duties... For me this liqueur transport duty needed the 1400 kg version.

All van models like that are only 1000 or 1400 kg. 2,5 kg (later 'Galion') with 'artillerie' wheels have larger, specific bodies, generally not directly by Renault, like the splendid PTT one also featuring in this movie <3

No, not all the sources:
http://lesrenaultdepapier.fr/1000kg_galion.htm (Renault dealers literature!) gives 1959 for Galion and 1960 for Volitgeur and Goëlette;
Link to "lesptitesrenault.online.fr" gives 1959 for the three appellations.

And about ours, here, since we see nothing of the wheels and their arches, it's quite difficult to even exclude the 2,5T. All I can say for certain here, according to Les petits Renault is that it's a 1952+.

(Besides, I agree that it is very probably a 1400 Kg.)

Oh I didn't know the dealers litterature link, really a pure delight <3 !

So you're right, there is a gap, we had not any Goelette before 1959 or 1960 so we don't know for this one without a zoom on the grille.

Another little detail on them doorknobs seems painted before 1957, just like this one...

So we can classified this one as a 1951+ Renault 1400 kg ?

I watched the movie (I'm sort of a saint, that proving this) and I can't even say if the Renault has lights on the side of its front fender. All I know is that the registration plate is up its rear doors.

This plus what I guess of its rear wheels (a glimpse in the movie) lead to calling it 1952+ 1400 Kg, according to Link to "lesptitesrenault.online.fr"

It is probably more recent but it's just a feeling.
