And that is all, for this car and for the movie!

Possibly a Wolseley from just pre or just post WW2 - of the type used by the Police.

Or a Vauxhall Light Six like /vehicle_785571-Vauxhall-Light-Six-DY-DX-1935.html ?

'Wolseley' on my right, 'Vauxhall' on my left…

Qui dit mieux ?

I didn't see that because I have been away on holiday, check the gap in my posts.

Definitely the Vauxhall, two bold chrome stripes along the bonnet side, so Yah-booh-sucks.
Less than five minutes, including making sure it wasn't a Big Six, checking an image in the book, and finding a suitable image for proof, plus the noticeable lack of an illuminated Wolseley badge in the radiator grille. In my experience of old Wolseleys, these were quite reliable, maybe they used better quality bulbs.

I'm now off to watch a programme about the Quintinshill disaster.

Oh, pardon !

Merci.

(What is the Quintinshill disaster?)

The worst ever disaster on the railways in the UK. Three trains were involved and many soldiers from a Scottish regiment died due to their troop train hitting a stationary local train, and a further train hitting the wrecks. Two signalmen were blamed, but the whole enquiry was less than thorough, and smelled of some collusion between the railway company and the government of the time, it was 1915 and things were not done as well as they are these days.

Ouahou ! Bon anniversaire à lui aussi, alors.
Est-il inscrit à IMCDb, par hasard, ou bien es-tu seul à être assez fou pour ça ?

Seulement moi, il n'a pas l'amour des autos. Moi, je suis assez fou pour rien.
