antp ◊ 2007-01-07 23:48	Is this one a real Kübelwagen, or is it a replica like the other one? /vehicle_928-Citroen-2CV.html It looks a little different, especially as it has no roof and that the other one seems to have fixed pillars.

2491tj ◊ 2009-02-20 20:48	this actual Kubel was offered for sale in the British magazine "Classic Military Vehicle", February 2009 edition..up to 2009 it had been in storage some 15 years, asking price £20,000..famous movies it had been in also include The Battle Of Britain.
OliverFilm ◊ 2024-04-29 14:45	Both that appear in the film are real, the hard top was destroyed and run over by the fake built tank. It was a last minute decision that cost Lucas Film £8K (good Kubel selling at the time for 4.5), the wreak was returned to Tony Oliver at Eton Wick. The other one that appears on this photo was sold in 1989, first major restoration in early 90’s and second four years ago. Been with same owner in Guernsey for 35+ years. Also was in Bridge Too Far, Eagle has Landed and BBC TV Allo Allo
