1935 West Suffolk plate, so fairly local.

Later in film, this bloke posting a "new" Eastern National timetable might be relevant for fleet, though 1939 a bit odd for this film date.

The location is Finchingfield, Essex. The owner/operator of the bus was Whiffens of Finchingfield

1931 to 1935 Bedford WLB looks right to me. Purpose built 20-seat bus chassis 156" wheelbase 6-cyl 26hp ohv petrol n/control.

Body is possibly by Economy Manufacturing Co. Lowestoft, Suffolk.
