MisterZ ◊ 2013-11-18 12:29	This is a 08/2000+ ("MY01") [JS2] due to the colour-coded side strips. 08/1999-07/2000 "JS II" models had black strips (except imported hatches). "CD" trim due to painted door handles (base model GLs had black handles). It goes like this: JR = 1997-1998 (1997 models fully imported, 1998 sedans locally assembled) JS = 1998-1999 (sedans/wagons locally assembled, hatches imported) JSII = 1999-2000 (sedans/wagons locally assembled, hatches imported) JS2 = 2000-2002 (fully imported) The wagon was only offered in the JS and JSII series. -- Last edit: 2020-01-30 15:33:20

I've had a look at goAuto.com.au, and the australian series had the following introduction dates : JR : June 1997 to August 1998 JS : August 1998 to August 1999 JS series II : August 1999 to December 2002 Link to "www.goauto.com.au"
