No Century there. The car on the right is a '78-80 Pontiac LeMans, the one on the left is a '78-'79 Chrysler Cordoba. |

I'm quite sure the car on the right is a 1979 Pontiac Grand Lemans, based on the tailight pattern. |

How do you tell the difference between the basic LeMans, the Grand LeMans and the Luxury LeMans? They all look the same to me. |

One way to tell if it's a Grand or not is whether or not the car has the silver trim all along it that lines up with the bumper trim. Only Grand LeMans' had that. It's hard to see here, but it doesn't LOOK like it has it on the quarter panel..if I'm right, it's probably a regular LeMans. Not that it's visible here, but another distinguishing bit is that only Grand LeMans' had hood ornaments and the chrome strip up the hood's centre. Bieng the owner of one, its a 1979 lemans. the fender flares, body angles, rear passenger window shape, and rear window trim it is one, and only the 4 door was available without the trim on the rear bumper lining and matchng. plus the rear key lock cover. its a lemans. |
