My name is Snookie. I'm 21 years old, and up until 30 September, 2009 I worked as an Assistance Officer with the Chicago Transit Authority. I drive a dark red 1995 Buick Skylark Custom which is, while 15 years old, in good working condition (though I did have to sink about $1000 bucks into it for minor repair work over the two years I've had it). I moonlight as a freelance artist. My work is based on vehicular/transportation themes as well as human portraits. I have knowledge on Cop cars gained with help from many of the others on this site, and knowledge of cars in general. My favorite car has to be the 1977-1985 Chevy Impala 9C1; 1986-1996 Chevy Caprice 9C1; as well as other American squad cars. The reason why is because of the way they perform in films such as 'To Live and Die in L.A.', 'Heat', 'Colors', and Running Scared'. I like 'To Live and Die' and other police procedural films because it uses typical American four door sedans instead of those fancy two seaters in today's car chases. (No disrespect. I like modern chases too.) But I wish cinema would just go back to chases like that, with pure driving, and not a lot of computer animation. I have completed a series of several comic book panels, 14 in total, which are an homage to graphic novels. The 14 panels have been posted on Flickr under the name "Tarnish, a mini-comic".
