When taking the picture above, I had trouble finding a non-blurred picture (and also where the car is not full of thousands bullet holes :D)

They destroyed (and destroy) much rarer cars for movies. 6622 is actually quite an impressive production figure for a shoe box wearing a beret. The rarest car I have seen destroyed for a movie was one of three ever built Armstrong-Siddeley Sapphire 346 funeral cars. Any rarer anyone?

I agree, I had one for a few years and liked it. It ran well and the entire iterior was made of fine italian leather - like sitting in a glove. The only drawback was that it was heavy and the stupid continuous fuel injection made it drink petrol - 14 miles to the gallon tops. Finally, sold it because it needed too much repair to be worthwhile.

yes i saw it in your profile - I like the car, because it is one of real coupes - 10 cm lower roof - looks pretty cool I think.

My 81 was brown originally but I painted it real dark Blue - looked much better. Did you know that the DeLorean used the same V6 as this car?

The Peugeot 604 and the Renault 30 too. Unlucky cars, with the PRV motor, the worst V6 of the seventies...

I really prefer the 780 Bertone ( vehicle_5432-Volvo-780-Bertone-1989.html )

About rare cars, there is one of the 2854 Bricklin produced that ends in the water in "The Junkman".

I had no problems with the motor, I just wonder what it did with all the petrol it drank? I once had a big old DeSoto V8 that got much better mileage.

No, if I rebuild another it will be an 1800 but I am getting a little old to start rebuilding another car. I guess the C70 will have to do for a while - at least its a coupe. Plus, I have my hands full keeping that damn MG running
