I suppose a bit later. In 1980 the first UK model with rear wash wipe and black bumpers was GLS, but it had tinted windows and vinyl roof (and it looks like it couldn't be taken without it). According to the DVLA, the plate CGO562X returns as a 1981 White (originally red) Talbot Alpine with a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine. It has been off the road since June 1993. |
