Is it just me or do the cars look CGI-ish? |

Yes, all of them in this scene are CGI, probably because the stunts would have been too dangerous if the speeding cars were real. -- Last edit: 2012-11-30 07:39:05 |

They could have at least spliced one shot of cyclists and another with real traffic, instead of using unconvincing CGI. It would have at least looked a little more realistic. I'm not really a huge fan of CGI and how Hollywood overuses it to death in many of their recent movies, I prefer the real deal. I can understand when there are situations where CGI is needed to render something not possible in real life, but there are many situations when something can be done in real life, but filmmakers decide to take the easy (or cheaper) way with fake CGI. -- Last edit: 2012-11-30 11:20:55 |

I fully agree. There are some awful examples in recent movies that are supposed to have money enough to either do real things are do good CGI (which is possible, but takes more time and money). Bad example: /vehicle_490860-Mercedes-Benz-E-Klasse-W211.html -- Last edit: 2012-11-30 16:36:06 |

The bus looks like the GMC RTS models I've seen and used here in NYC. |

Seeing how this is CGI and not an actual vehicle, I vote to just label it as a GMC. |
