It's a mid 80's base firebird. not a T/A. |

I do not see a CHMSL, so 1982-5. |

How can you tell from these two shots? Only 1986 can be ruled out. |

1985 at least. the brother of one of my friends had a 1985 Firebird and it had those 2 " rubber " ( is it really rubber ? ) things on the front bumper -- Last edit: 2016-01-13 20:45:49 |

@nightcub..Which is why I said 1982-5...It can't be any older than that... |

yeah but it could have CHMSL in the spoiler like the 1987+ had, which still have the rubber on bumper ( i forgot to take out 1986 in my previous comment ) Link to "cdn.barrett-jackson.com" |

1985 , take a close look to the front and you will see a black rubber piece wrapping on the corner of the front bumper which is Link to "s1031.photobucket.com" Unrelated to the Firebird, the guy with the hat in foreground is the actual president of the Boston Bruins, Cam Neely... -- Last edit: 2016-02-06 11:31:27 |

As Baube pointed out, the CHMSL on the 1987+ models were part of the spoiler, and not shown in the photos. This type spoiler was last used in 1987. So it makes it a 1985 or 1987 model. I've been trying to look for the paint job, and I am only coming up with 1987 with this style paint (two-toned with red stripe). The 1988 Formula has a similar style, but with "Formula" decals on the side. |
