the factory created a special 4 litre prototype GT based on the DB4GT and called DP212, for the 1962 Le Mans 24 hour race. Although exceedingly quick, especially in the hands of Graham Hill and Richie Ginther (n°11 at Le Mans), problems took the car out in the 6th hour. |
