The name A120 seems to have been used only for a very short time, then it was renamed to A135 (and we have lised similar cars as such). |

You are right, the A135 is much more common (if that term applies to Princesses at all), and there is no difference in appearance. I just thought we use the designation of the first issue of a car, if there are no visible differences. |

Some mis-information - there was never an A120 Princess ^, but the A110 Sheerline 3.5L was upgraded to A125 4.0L after only 12 A110 built. The Austin A135 Princess Mk1 was an A125 with posh fittings by Vanden Plas and streamlined headlamps (as here), and rarer than A125. |

There was an A120 Princess and you very probably see one when you look at the picture. http://www.philseed.com/austin-a120.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_Princess But DynaMike is right, the A120 quickly became the A135 without any external changes, and the latter is what the car is most commonly known as. |

I was sourcing from http://www.austinmemories.com/page8/page35/page35.html which has no mention of A120 apart from within a heading, so assumed A120 never existed. But still unclear from other googling if any were actually made. ebay has a joint A110/A120 brochure - Link to "www.ebay.co.uk" but as only 12 A110 were made, this only proves announcement/intended production.
