imdb only lists USA as the filming location but this is definitely an EU spec Cherokee. |

Don't think we ever got 2WD Cherokee XJ but not sure for every country..anyway don't believe the Cherokee was ever built in Austria  even if some sources say so, but for example Wikipedia doesn't list production in Graz.. |

Our market did get the 2WD model. I decoded the VIN as best I could and indeed a Toledo built model. My decoder doesn't list the trim/transmission nor the TD engine. Probably because we didn't get the TD here in the states and I think overseas trim levels were different or your codes just represented the transmission. 1991-1999 5th digit 2,7 Grand Cherokee - 2WD J Cherokee or Comanche - 4WD N Cherokee Briarwood S Grand Wagoneer T Cherokee or Comanche - 2WD W Grand Cherokee - 4WD X Grand Cherokee - 2WD Y Wrangler - 4WD Z Grand Cherokee - 4WD |
